Ethics Table Brown Bag Lunches, 2012-2013

 

The Ethics Table Brown Bag Lunches began in Spring semester 2013, thanks to feedback from the 2011-2012 Ethics Table (now called the Ethics Table Fellows) that a space was wanted for informal discussion of ethics in addition to the fellowship which focuses mainly on projects. See “The first Ethics Table.”

April 3rd: The ethics of student loans and the cost of higher education at private institutions
April 10th: Zero Dark Thirty and the ethics of torture in film
April 17th: An anti-misinformation website on climate change? (with the Sustainability Alliance)
April 24th: “To spare the subjected and crush the conquered.” — perspectives on Aeneid XII and the killing of Turnus (with the Classics Department’s Virgil Week)
